RULES OF THE POSTER CONTEST XIII CIETO

Organization: International Congress of Occupational Therapy Students (CIETO) of the Miguel Hernández University of the Sant Joan campus (Alacant).

1. Objective:
The purpose of this contest is to select the design for the poster of the XIII CIETO.

2. Participants:
All those who wish may participate, regardless of whether or not they belong to the degree in Occupational Therapy or to the Miguel Hernández University.

The participant, by the fact of participating, is recognized as the legitimate and exclusive owner of any type of right that may derive from the designs presented, exempting the Miguel Hernández University from any responsibility for them.

3. Designs:
The participant may submit all the designs they want, as long as the theme is related to Occupational Therapy.

The winning design may be requested slight changes.

The designs must be original and unpublished works that have not been awarded or represented in other contests or contests.

The design can be based on drawings, images, fonts, words, phrases, numbers or any other graphic element.

The posters must include the following points:
● Title (highlighted): “XII International Congress of Occupational Therapy Students”. OR “XIII CIETO”
● Date: May 8, 9 and 10.
● Place: Assembly Hall of the Severo Ochoa Building on the San Juan campus of the UMH
● Logos: CIETO, CITO, Miguel Hernández University and Congress Center. Request formats to
● Form and term of presentation: The works will be presented in digital format PDF and modifiable format to the email: under the subject: “Cartel CIETO”. The personal data of the author of the poster (name, surnames and telephone number) must be included in the email sent. The submission period will be from October 11 to November 7, 2023.

4. Publication:
The winning design will be published on November 11. Before that, the author of the work will be personally informed.

5. Jury:
The posters will be valued by the Boards of Directors of CIETO.

6. Prizes:
The name of the winner of the contest will appear on the web, social networks and various events as a special collaborator of the congress in recognition of her work.

The winner of the award will be able to choose between opting for a scholarship for the CIETO with free attendance at the congress or a merchandising pack.

7. Obligations of the participants:
The presentation to the contest implies the authorization of the author of the disclosure of his work by any means of communication and the images that are going to be used are of free origin and not plagiarized.

By granting this award, the organizers exclusively acquire all the rights for reproduction, distribution, public communication and transformation, having the right to express the work by any means or tangible or intangible support, including each and every one of the modalities of exploitation, including the rights of reproduction in any support or format, as well as the rights of distribution and public communication of the work.

8. Other provisions:
Participation in this call implies accepting each and every one of the provisions contained in these rules and compliance with the decisions of the Jury. The organization reserves the right of admission for those works whose content may be controversial.
